The Cosmic Sphynx Cattery website is a unique project developed by our art studio for a professional Sphynx cat breeder from the USA.We created the cattery's entire visual identity from scratch — including custom illustrations, logos, branded banners, and icons — and developed a fully functional turnkey website, from design to the administrative panel. Every element, from illustrations to icons, was crafted individually, taking into account the brand’s personality, the breed’s characteristics, and the target audience.We combined aesthetics, attention to detail, and high website performance to help our client achieve their business goals: promoting and selling kittens across the USA.
Project goals and features:
The project was created to successfully present the cattery online, showcase its strengths, and assist future owners in choosing a kitten. Cosmic Sphynx Cattery has been operating since 2010 and breeds kittens from top European, American, and Canadian bloodlines. The main focus is on quality over quantity, ensuring attentive care for each kitten and a professional approach to breeding.
Inspired by the name Cosmic Sphynx Cattery, a space theme was used throughout the website, logo, and illustrations.We selected primary and accent colors and consistently followed this palette in every element we created.
What Was Included in the Project:
A unique raster-style logo illustration;
A simplified version of the logo for use as a watermark on photos and videos;
A branded banner illustration in raster graphics featuring artistic depictions of the cattery’s stud cats, designed in the recognizable style of the website and brand;
A portrait banner showcasing the cattery’s founder and her Sphynx cats;

An administrative panel for independent website management, including:
Adding and editing information about each kitten, stud, and graduate;
Moving kittens to the “Studs” or “Graduates” sections;
Creating and editing blog posts, news, and articles;
Posting information about planned litters;
Responsive website design for various devices (mobile phones, tablets, laptops, etc.);
Animated and interactive website elements;
Social media branding and design (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook);

When developing a turnkey website, we create a custom design for every page and produce all the necessary elements for its implementation. In this project, digital raster graphics were selected as the primary technique for visual design.

Web design and branding for catteries
To enhance the visual appeal of the website and highlight the uniqueness of the breed, we created a series of custom illustrations. Some of them are conceptual representations that reflect the ideal characteristics of the Sphynx breed — qualities the cattery owner aims to promote. Others are realistic portraits of the cattery’s stud cats. All illustrations were created in a realistic style with slight artistic stylization, in harmony with the overall website theme.
Upon request, all elements — including logos, banners, and illustrations — can be provided in print-ready formats for use on various surfaces and branded merchandise. This allows them to be used not only online, but also for souvenirs and corporate print materials.
